As you see, the samples are measured either by Immunoassay or Spectrophotometry. To know more about Spectrophotometry, you will need to look at that section of the program “Biochemistry – A Metabolic Challenge” on your CD.
 
When you have opened the file “Calculations of Biochemical Concentrations” go first to the Introduction then through the different topics in the Main menu as indicated in your course manual i.e. Mass and Molarity [Do you remember learning something about it in BMS1011? Go and look back at your notes!], Spectrophotometry and Determination of Sample Concentration].
 
When you have covered all the topics highlighted in the manual answer the following question;

Briefly describe the techniques of spectrophotometry and immunoassay [though you might already have covered the latter in the section on “Pregnancy tests”].
